Proper etiquette states that whenever visiting someone's home for an event, no matter how big or small, one must always bring a hostess gift. Some may question this but the answer is always - "Yes, you must always bring something." A hostess has spent a lot of time and effort into making an event special and a hostess gift is a way of thanking them. I find that most hostess gift guides have become somewhat mundane and all recommend a candle or a bottle of wine, how boring is that?! Instead, why not bring something totally original that the hostess with really LOVE!Try: a set of bamboo salad tongs, Sprinkles cupcake mix for the hostess that loves to bake, a stylish Lady Jayne Writer's Block note cube, a bag of delicious gourmet Plush Puffs marshmallows, a bar of hand-milled French soap, a tube of decorative fireplace matches, or a bottle of flavor infused honey from Savannah Bee Co.
