A pair of pretty driftwood earrings accented with tiny jewel-tone beads. LOVE THESE!

Bio
Jerin lives in a small town on the Texas Gulf Coast with her husband and two children. Her background is in accounting. After 10 years of working in the corporate world, she decided to leave it all behind and take a leap of faith into the world of a stay-at-home mom. It didn't take long before she realized she needed a creative outlet to save her sanity! She purchased some books about basic jewelry techniques, bought some supplies, and began to get a feel for what kind of jewelry she wanted to design. She had always loved anything vintage and had fond memories of playing dress up with her grandmother's old costume jewelry...so she naturally gravitated to vintage-inspired jewelry. She loves interesting found objects and vintage components that seem to have a story to tell and turning them into fun and feminine jewelry that her customers will enjoy. She wants her customers to feel they own something very special and just for them... not something that hundreds of other people are going to be walking around wearing. Her customers are a major source of inspiration and she strives to provide the best service possible to them!

Favorite Materials
old keys, rhinestones, solder, shells

I adore my birthstone ring. It was my very first piece of "real" jewelry.

My favorite piece of jewelry is also a gold locket that my great aunt gave me. She was more like my grandmother. Inside is a picture of her and my uncle when they were young. I will always cherish it.

First pair of diamond earrings my boyfriend gave me, they are so tiny. But they were the only thing he could afford at the time. I still wear them even after many years have passed

My favorite/first piece of jewelry was given to me by my parents. It was a petite birthstone ring and it made me feel so grownup. Wasn't grownup enough to leave it at home, it was stolen from a locker room. Now I make restyled vintage jewelry; perhaps a subconcious effort to replace the ring?
P.S. Really enjoy your blog.

I bought an 18K gold Jerusalem cross embedded with Lapis in Bethlehem. I am so glad I splurged...it will always remind me of my trip to the Middle East.

My favorite piece of jewelry is a necklace that I made with a big vintage skeleton key that I found in my grandfather's attic. He made keys, and this one both reminds me of him and makes me wonder what it unlocks...

hey hey!! I love your blog, but
can you do a post on style for humid summers? I am just starting out at all this fashion and style stuff, since i never used to be able to find anything that fits...

but now i realize summer in FL is about here, and I am confused about what to wear. I know LA is probably very similar in humidity.

I used to wear a golden pendant everyday that my greatgrandmother gave my grandmother gave my mother gave me when i was about seven. It had the virgin of guadalupe on one side and the virgin mary holding jesus on the other. i wore it under my uniform everyday, until the first time i got drunk in eighth grade and a boy pulled it off of my neck and i lost it. My mother was so upset she smacked me in the face when I got home.

I still have my baby ring and value it highly. Other than that, I'm not really big on rings, but have lots of bracelets and earrings. This would be a beautiful addition to my collection. Nice work!

My favorite piece of jewelry is an opal ring my now-husband had made for me. We were at an antique show and he saw this beautiful antique opal hat pin. The stone had that deep fire in it. He bought it and took it to a jeweler to make into a ring.

My wedding ring without a doubt! But in a close second is a ring my mother bought me at an antique estate sale. It's blue topaz set in white gold. She got it right before I had my first baby boy!

I also love my sapphire blue ring. I bought my inexpensive sapphire blue ring in Cherokee, NC just a couple of weeks before I wound up buying my sapphire blue Jeep Cherokee. Can you say "destiny"?
